About Me

Hello I am Alyssa Hughes. I graduated as a Music Industry Studies major with a minor in Jazz Studies (Voice) from Loyola University New Orleans in May of 2022. I am currently studying and in progress of getting a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. I have always had a passion for music, the process of creating music (songwriting, composing, producing, mastering), art (hand-drawn, photoshop, illustrator etc.), and the business of the music industry including; marketing, management, streaming, live tour, album art, etc. With a passion for music, art, graphic design, business, social media, and all things marketing, I have both the skill set and professional background necessary to dive deep into the marketing world. As an upbeat, driven, self-motivated team player with excellent communication and a willingness to explore new concepts and challenges I envision an exciting future in the industry. This major comprises of hands-on experiences with the performance side of the music industry along with learning key business aspects of the industry such as; management, copyright law/legal issues, marketing, finances, and entrepreneurship.

Received an Associate's Degree in Vocal Performance with a jazz focus. Performed at many piano and voice recitals (voice and piano are my primary instruments) and pop-show (pop concert)/showcases.
